Warranty Policy

Tank you all for using products of NextoDI. If you have a problem using NextoDI's products, please read the information below to make sure your issue is covered by NextoDI's warranty

The warranty :

NextoDI two years limited warranty is available on all products offered by NextoDI except those listed below.

  • The period of warranty of internal HDD and internal battery is 1 year
  • For other accessories(CF/SD adapter or power adapter, etc), the period of warranty is a month.
What is covered :
  • Parts and labour costs for the repair of a product defect or fault of production, which resulted in the product malfunctioning.
  • Parts and labour costs for the repair of fault of material of the product, which resulted in the product malfunctioning.
  • One way shipping charge shipping back to the customer.
General exclusions (what's NOT covered) :
  • Wear and tear
  • Damage caused by impact, fire, theft, attempted theft, accidental or malicious damage, vandalism, acts of war or terrorism, corrosion, water contamination or ingress, frost, flooding or other adverse weather conditions
  • Improper usage, storage or handling of the product
  • Failure to follow our written instructions for the product
  • Loss of quality, degradation of performance or actual damage that results from the use of spare parts or other replaceable items (such as consumables) that are neither made nor recommended by us
  • Modification to the product and/or software, by someone other than our representatives
  • External causes out of our control which may include accidents, fire disasters or burglaries
  • Faults caused by shock or fall, sand, dust, dirt, dampness or corrosion, leaky batteries, repair or cleaning by unauthorized personnel
  • Loss or damage of data
  • Not installing any error correction that we issue for the software
General terms :
  • The warranty is valid from the date of purchase until the end of 2 year. You can check the warranty of your unit with our Warranty checker in “Procedure
  • You must obtain an authorization for repair from us first. The choice of repair is subject to NextoDI’s authorization, and we may choose to specify a particular service centre.
  • We may choose to replace your product if the cost of repair is not economical. In the case of the product no longer being available, we may choose to replace it with a similar product of the same or greater value. These values are determined by what the values are at the time of replacement.
  • You will be responsible for the cost of having the product checked / repaired if the fault of the product is not covered by this warranty.
  • You should take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your assets and property (including all software and data) and to minimise potential loss or disruption, including, where appropriate, making full backups of all your software and data and implementing virus checking controls.
  • The warranty is not transferable to a third party.
Free pickup service:

NextoDI provides Free Pick-up Service for the product you purchase in NextoDI Store. Free Pick-up Service provides free pick up at home and covers your shipping cost of the damaged products for repair.

  • Free Pick-up Service is only available during the period of warranty.
  • Free Pick-up Service is available for the damaged products, but not for any other cases.
  • Free Pick-up Service is only available with Free Pick-up Coupons enclosed with the products you purchase. (But Free Pick-up Coupons are not provided with SW and accessories.)
  • The amount of Free Pick-up Coupons varies according to the products you purchase.
  • One coupon is valid for only one time Free Pick-up Service.
  • For Free Pick-up Service, please contact via NextoDI Support Center (support_overseas@nextodi.com) for availability and process information.
  
Procedure
Warranty period

Warranty period for main unit is 2 year after the purchase except internal HDD (Warranty period for HDD is 1 year). For other accessories(CF/SD adapter or power adapter), warranty period is one month.

The period of warranty of HDD and battery is 1 year.
For other accessories(CF/SD adapter or power adapter, etc), the period of warranty is a month.

Free repair service
  • For the product with defect in material or workmanship arises under conditions of normal and proper use according to the user manual.
Paid repair service
  • Product with outside of warranty period.
  • Any physically broken LCD, housing or connector shall be subject to minimal service charge. (Check Service Fee )
Operating procedure
  1. For the questions and inquiry, please use our Q&A page.
  2. Register service at Service Request. Check the warranty of your device with the serial number.
  3. NextoDI checks the warranty of requested unit and informs customer the service fee, if applicable, via e-mail. Reference service rates are available on the Service Fee.
  4. With the approval from the customer, shipping address and CI(Commercial Invoice) for shipment shall be sent. The CI is required for DHL shipping purpose only and does not stand for any customer payment related information.
  5. Pack the Nexto unit in minimal package size. NextoDI shall collect the Nexto unit via DHL from the customer. Print the CI and give it to DHL collector.
  6. Once the Nexto unit reaches service house of NextoDI, the service shall be done in five working days and send back to the customer. After the service, NextoDI sends Invoice to customer if there are service fee applicable.
  7. After the payment through Paypal, NextoDI send the serviced Nexto unit to the customers via DHL. Usual shipping time is three days to your country.
