I boot my laptop, plug the ND2730 into a USB 3.0 port and switch it on. The PC - USB shows on the ND2730 screen but nothing else happens. The ND2730 does not show up as a drive.
The same thing happens if I use a USB 2.0 port.
Please advise what is the problem and how to fix it?
you've earlier reported to us that your nd2730 doesn't recognised about 80% of times.

I am having the same problem. just got the ND 2730. have called and spoken with Eric at tech support. unable to get the unit to be recognized on my PC with windows 7 but CAN use it on the other PC with windows 7. uses same drivers on that PC that I have on this one and use for another hard drive backup. Eric is working on it and I don't know if there is any other info here. please advise thanks
