Urgent NVS2525 UDF Issue
I was backing up one card today and the Nexto claim an error. Power it back up again and there was a green screen and a message :

" warning, smart test failed, changing HDD recommended, ID@C5 : 00000010"

Then I tried to format the hard disc from the Nexto format option. When the progress bar gets half way, it stops and says :

"unknown error" then " ! power off".

I went to HDD management > HDD info > force check. Then the capacity check stops half way the progress bar (just like when formatting) and says :

"unknown error, file read failed, error No : 0x30003000" the it turns off again.

Everytime I turn it back on I get the message : " warning, smart test failed, changing HDD recommended, ID@C5 : 00000010"

If I put an SxS card, it says : "! SxS error, unsupported file system. error No : 0x3100E000".

This are the messages I got from Mac´s Disc Utility when verifying the Nexto internal (after formatting using Nexto format option for internal HDD, the Mac did not recognize it anymore).

You need to contact the supplier where you bought it from and request a RMA. The internal hard disk needed to be replaced.

Most likely the internal drive has bad sectors.
TIPS: How to prevent the hard drive failure that caused from bad sectors?
The bad sectors are the heads making contact with the HDD platter that caused from severe physical shock or vibrations while writing onto disk. By careful handling of NVS while data copying, will preventing it happens again. Now, contact your device supplier for internal hard disk replacement and update FW v1.50 that included a niche feature to warn the user if too much outer-shock or vibrations detected. Hope this information helps.
