There is alot's of 1TB Internal 2.5" (Western Digital, Toshiba, etc...) HDD why the device not support ? I have been installed 1TB HDD and got an Error...
If it is 2.5' 9.5mm height HDD, it should be work upto 2TB.
What is the model number and firmware version of your device?
Check your firmware version and try upgrade the firmware if it is not latest one.
