Unable to connect ND2700 to PC via eSATA cable
Tried connecting a few times using the provided eSATA cable. Unable to detect ND2700. PC does not hang but everything seems to freeze on my PC till I power off the ND2700 at which it prompt to remove eSATA cable. After removing the cable, my PC was able to function as per normal. Tried by doing hardware installation via control panel, but evrything freeze alo till turning off ND2700 and having eSATA cable removed.

Your kind advise please.

i have a nd2700 and had no such problems with eSata. have you tried any other eSata devices with your pc? was it successful? by reading your description, it seems like your pc has a problem, not nd2700.

ND-2700 supports eSata ll, but not backward compatible with eSata l. (I think) anyone has tried connection with eSata l??

ND2700 does not work correctly with SATA1.
So if your eSATA port comes from dummy converter which convert internal SATA connector to external eSATA connector, then it'll not work properly.

first I get Nexto ND 2700 just to find that is not working fine with my WD disk.Ok, I replace it
Than I buy pcmcia to Esata card just to found that nexto need sata II so I stuck with USB.
YOU SHOULD HAVE IT WRITEN ON MAIN PAGE, not just here.
What should I do now? I bought nexto to be fast just to found that It will work just on slow usb2?
