ND2730 became very hot during the use. Specialy sued at computer.
This is partly because the firewire800/USB controller IC consume more power than previous model and partly because the hard drive is 7200rpm.

At the previous model, we recommend using 5400 or 4200rpm hard drive because the speed bottle neck is not hard drive.
But the copy speed of ND2730 is very fast(70MB/s) and to reach that maximum performance, the hard drive also should be fast. So we recomment using 7200rpm hard drive in case of ND2730.

This 7200rpm hard drive makes a lot of heat and that is why you feel ND2730 become much hotter than previous model.
